sometimes i feel like i could endlessly use song lyrics to sum up all of my relationships with other people. original? no, but it serves its purpose.

the ani show was great last night. i definitely anticipate sarah and i seeing more shows, and hanging out together more, outside of work.

regarding work, things are changing again. i think it'll all work out in the long run, with a few bumps along the road. hopefully i won't have to fight tooth and nail to get a decent raise next week, which is my biggest concern.

looking forward to elektroshock this weekend. hopefully everyone that i want to go, will actually be there for once. *coughmartycough*

can't think of much else to say, as the brain is fried. weeks are bleeding into each other, with no real break. money is good, but sanity is better.

Blogger redesigned their site, and i'm not sure that i like it. on the one hand, there are more features, but on the other, it's a bit more cumbersome. still deciding if i should add comments to this thing, because feedback is good but only intelligent feedback.

i'm picky.

going to the ani difranco show tonight, with sarah, who thankfully will not be my ex-coworker as she has decided to stay. this makes me happy, as she's the only person at any job i've had that i actually like and trust. yay.


Young Adam starts on Friday in Bethesda, and you better believe i will be seeing that. it's annoying that the Charles isn't getting it (or is getting it much later), but i'm willing to travel the distance for a naked Ewan Mcgregor.

this week has been (well, not that it's over) tiring. my sleep deficit is slowly mounting and i will be sleeping all day saturday in an attempt to feel like a normal person again.

and of course i have plans for tonight, friday and saturday.

i can see this is going to be a long and sleepless night. my stomach has been upset for hours now and even though it's feeling better i doubt i'll get much sleep because there's some asshole playing a goddamn radio out front of the tea shop beyond my back yard. if i weren't such a wussy i'd call the cops. i'm hoping either the batteries in the thing die soon or he has the good sense to shut it off at 11. if not i don't know what i'll do but i may just go postal.

and tell me, why the bloody hell is a credit card company canceling a credit card that i've paid on time every month? i'm not even arguing about it though. not worth my time as i have other credit cards. it's just annoying and stupid.

and yes, 10.5 does suck major donkey balls, oh my god does it. but it is loud and does drown out the annoying muzak. this video however is the opposite of suckage. be warned though, it's huge and will take a while to load even with a fast connection (at least with comcast it did).

allow me to rant for a second (not like you can stop me):

transcription is hard enough when tape quality is bad, but having to transcribe spanish when you can only hear a couple words out of 10 makes it impossible to render anything remotely coherent.

thank goodness this week is going to filled with the fun of horrorshow and ascension. i might go nuts otherwise.

must now go listen to ewan mcgregor's your song and calm down.
